森林木乐队成立于2010年。三位成员都在同一单位工作，相互了解颇深，且各自有着长时间原创音乐经历。因为对音乐的热爱和执着，三位最终走到了一起。乐队的音乐风格为流行摇滚、后摇、轻爵士风格。作品中无时无刻不映照着三位成员对生活经历的感悟，对上海这座城市（魔都）的热爱。音乐的旋律和编曲颇有自己的特点，且纯音乐的部分占到了乐队作品的很大一部分比重。

说到乐队名字的由来，起初因为单位内部演出的安排需要，临时起名：森林列车，之后改为森林木。森林的深邃、神秘、沉稳更能体现乐队作品的气质。当然也可以说有环保的因素，哈哈。特别要说的是主唱翟松个人对音乐剧演艺以及对于旋律的把握，对乐队的整体来说起到了引导作用。吉他手有多年的乐队经历，且涉及的风格多样。两位核心成员在一段时间的磨合以及各自多年的经历和生活的状态，使之成为森林木现在的风格状态。

 

Established in 2010, the band "Junglewoods" was formed by three experienced musicians in Shanghai. The band made its first debut in YUYINTANG, a world renowned live bar, in Sep, 2010. During the two years of performing, Junglewoods attended some Music competitions and got quite popular, such as, the Zippo Hot list Night, winning the first prize in the Shanghai area, Tiger Beer Rock competition , winning the second prize in Shanghai area. Meanwhile, the band also focuses on writting orginal music, 16 songs have been produced since the band has formed, reflecting their independent yet organized/fusion, realistic yet a chilled style of rock anthem.
